Statistics consistently show that teen drivers are at risk for
traffic accidents. This is why all teenagers should be encouraged
to take advantage of all of the courses available to
them.
Driver’s Education courses will teach teen drivers the fundamentals of
obeying road-rules, traffic signs, and about being an overall good
driver. Enrollment in a Defensive Driving School is relatively
inexpensive and will also teach a teenager about the fundamentals of
good driving while exploring Defensive Driving techniques that will
make them more conscientious and alert drivers. While neither
course is required in Missouri, it is a good idea to get your teenager
all of the supplemental instruction available to them. As the
cliché goes, ‘it’s better to be safe than sorry.’
